I had been planning to photograph this event, which was scheduled for 1 November. Alas, it is has just fallen victim to Covid-19. It is unclear whether this was due to the latest Tier 2 restrictions which have just been imposed in London where many spectators would congregate or risks across the entire route in general. Besides London, large crowds could be expected in Brighton and the cars end up being parked quite close together. It will be the first time since 1947 that the run has not occurred. The next one is scheduled for Sunday, 7 November 2021. We can all only hope that it will go ahead as planned with the implication of life returning to normal.
