Night view around Waterloo Station

Hi

A few photos from my night visit to Waterloo and Southbank on Saturday night.

Most of the time I was tucked away under the Hungerford Bridge because of the rain.

I haven’t done much editing yet so you get to see them as they were taken.

I walked over Tower Bridge (in non-photo mode) on Saturday evening trying to escape the rain so well done on staying out on such miserable night My favourites are your first image for being so quirky and your last image for showing a moody scene. You could try cropping out the hoardings on the left which then gives a mystery to what the guy is looking at??

I am going to try cropping few different ways to see how the photos look.

As you said the weather wasn’t that good. But I think it makes a person look at the scenery from a different prospective.

If I hadn’t been stuck under the bridge because of the rain I don't think I would have taken the last scene.

Which may turn out to be the highlight of the evening once I have done some work on it.

I may be imagining it but the horizon seems slightly wonky on the last one?

Interested to see what you can make of these after you have processed them. Most of the time, people only show images they have already had a pass at so seeing the before/after could reveal a lot about how you approach making an image "your own". If that makes sense!

Yes it was/is. I have adjusted the original.

I am leaving the editing to next month.

I am hoping I will have enough experience and a large variety of photos to start to understand 'my take' and put my personal signature on them.
