This picture was taken from my hotel balcony in Gran Canaria. This is my first attempt at star trails, I'm pretty happy with the result.

Did you do the "single long exposure" option or stack multiple frames? Actually, I think I know the answer on closer inspection

I am wondering if the stars are ever so slightly out of focus? I think that's worked out nicely, it makes the trails a little "larger" and more defined. good stuff

Hi David, as you probably realised this was taken using 100 images and merged together.
